Author Bio
Kenneth Hastings was born in Lincolnshire and educated at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Gainsborough. After studying at the Sorbonne in Paris and at Cambridge, he taught mainly in further and higher education establishments. In 1970 he became a schools inspector, inspecting and assessing post-school education until retiring in 1986. He then worked as a staff development and research tutor for the English Speaking Board.
