Sheryl Buckland is an English management trainer and consultant who has worked for public and private organizations in Britain and the Netherlands. A member of the British Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, she holds a BA (Hons.) degree in English and European Thought and Literature and an MA in Education. In 1995 she moved with her husband to the Netherlands and immersed herself in Dutch culture, conducting research on cultural acclimatization, the role of language teachers, and child development. During this time, she has also worked as an Associate Lecturer for the British Open University Business School, and conducted intercultural training for a major Anglo-Dutch corporation.
