  This adaption of Cinderella consists of a pop-up theatre-stage with curtain, four scene changes, two stage effects and an audience. A backstage prop-box contains the characters and props, and a pocket in front of the audience holds a book containing the playscript in humorous verse. The stage effects, in which the pumpkin turns into a coach, a clock swings out to reveal midnight, and Cinderella descends stairs to try on the slipper, are worked into the production. The playscript book also contains stage directions, general information on putting on a performance, and suggestions for sound effects and lighting.
