Donnachadh McCarthy is an environmental auditor for small and medium-sized businesses and organizations and a green lifestyle coach. He appears frequently on radio and TV, having appeared on both the BBC's 'It's Not Easy Being Green' program and ITV's 'How Green is Your House'. His first book Saving the Planet Without Costing the Earth was published in 2004. His two-up, two-down terrace house in Peckham, south London has solar heating, photovoltaic electricity, a catalytic converter gas fire and a rain harvester and windmill.
