Drusilla Cole is a writer, artist, and illustrator, and for the last 20 years has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Arts, London, teaching surface design and textiles. She specializes in natural dyeing techniques using plants and minerals. Drusilla is the author of 1000 Patterns (A&C Black, 2003) and Laurence King's bestselling Patterns: New Surface Design (2007).
