Author Bio
Mel Byars is the author of numerous books on design, notably On/Off: New Electronic Products and the highly successful series of six volumes which included 50 Chairs, 50 Lights and 50 Products. He has taught design history at the Pratt Institute in New York and has contributed to periodicals including Blueprint, I.D. and Metropolitan Home.
