May Need Renovation

May Need Renovation

by PamelaRowan (Author)

Synopsis

Fast-paced and funny, this hilarious novel comments on the fashionable pursuit of property renovation. It follows the fortunes of Sullivan whose regular boyfriend has totalled her occasional boyfriend's Jag. To make matters worse he has also managed to burn down their apartment by hurling the other boyfriend's mobile phone into the deep fat fryer, by accident of course. Sullivan ends up on the front page of the Star in her underwear and Prada heels being rescued by a fireman. Not bad PR but that's not how Lego Littleton, the head of HR where Sullivan works, sees it. She wants to fire Sullivan, but Patricia, Sullivan's best friend from school, is also in her corner and is aided by a shit-hot lawyer (who wears cashmere and is gay as Christmas). But Sullivan becomes a bit distracted when she inherits a Martello Tower from her grandfather and begins to discover some strange secrets...
