The collection is being published in Mercier's jubilee year to commemorate the friendship between John M. Feehan - the founder of the Mercier Press - and Francis MacManus, writer and broadcaster, many of whose books were published by Mercier. It is also a celebration of the longstanding relationship between Mercier and RTE.
