Author Bio
Tony Worobiec studied Fine Art at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and now heads a large design faculty in Dorset. His interest in photography developed during the early 1980s and he has won awards both in the UK and internationally. In 1987 he gained the distinction of Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and three years later he was invited to join the Society's 'Distinctions' panel. Tony has had work exhibited at the Barbican in London and at the National Museum of Photography in Bradford; he also has work in the permanent collection of the Royal Photographic Society and in private collections in England, Europe and America. His work has appeared in many photographic magazines and he is a regular feature writer on aspects of black-and-white darkroom techniques for Photo Art International. His previous books are Rhythms of the Land (Creative Monochrome, 1996) and Beyond Monochrome (Fountain Press, 1999).
