  Inspired by memories of childhood, this cross-stitch book includes a range of samplers, paperweights, cards, small pictures, pendants and pincushions to make for children's rooms. There are also cross-stitch borders for items such as children's clothes, curtains, cushions and pram-covers. The projects are complemented with ephemera drawn from old children's books, games and toys, and many illustrate poems or traditional nursery rhymes. There are altogether more than 50 designs suitable for both beginners and experienced needleworkers. Each design is accompanied by a colour photograph of the finished object and a stitch-chart, together with straightforward making-up instructions.
