  As the reader turns the pages of this book, the illustrations and simple text reveal more about the animals and plants that live in the rainforest. At the base live strange-looking insects, up the trees are monkeys and parrots and finally there is a panoramic spread giving a birds-eye view of the rainforest. A map at the back of the book shows where similiar environments can be found and a simple quiz invites readers to go back and search for some of the animals in the book.
