Author Bio
Steve Bowkett taught English for 18 years in Leicestershire high schools, and is now a full-time writer, storyteller and educational consultant. To date he has 39 publications including short stories and poems for children and adults. Amongst his titles for Network Press are Imagine That..., Self-Intelligence, ALPS StoryMaker and StoryMaker Catch Pack. Roy Leighton is an educator, creative thinker and broadcaster, best known for his role in the BBC TV programme Confidence Lab. He has a reputation for linking creativity, commerce and learning to assist individuals and organisations in transforming their level of achievement in many areas. He is Enterprise Advisor to national and international schools, colleges and businesses. Tim Harding taught in primary schools for 23 years, 15 of these as a headteacher. He has frequently used music as a dynamic starting point for cross-curricular learning and has written and produced a wide variety of music for primary school children. He also performs with his family band, 'The Hardings', who bear a close resemblance to Little Tracy and the Communicators! Trisha Lee is founder and artistic director of MakeBelieve Arts, a theatre and education company with a primary focus on storytelling and drama in the classroom. Her activities include directing, writing and stage managing theatre in education productions that tour London schools, and also providing school INSET.
