Author Bio
From camping as a youngster in the Welsh valleys, John Traynor has gone on to backpack, pedal, paddle and tour by car around the UK, Europe and much further afield. From Iceland to South Africa and from Canada to South East Asia, he has enjoyed many nights 'under canvass'. A regular contributor to outdoor magazines and founding member of the Outdoor Writers Guild, he splits his time between Europe and southern Africa. This is his first guide for Cicerone.
