Media Reviews
?If you?re a writer, embarking on a new piece, beware of reading anything by Adrian McKinty. He is a cross between Mickey Spillane and Damon Runyon - the toughest, the best? Frank McCourt ?I really enjoyed [Dead I Well May Be?s] combination of toughness and a striking literary style. Both those things are evident in Hidden River and the plot also has a great twist at the end. McKinty is going places? Peter Guttridge, Observer ?Dead I Well May Be was a wild, riveting roller-coaster of a read. This [Hidden River] more measured and disciplined adventure is equally exciting and engaging thanks to tight plotting and vivid characterisation? Irish Independent ?[Hidden River] takes a leap into even more rarefied company and promotes the US-resident Irish author into the premier league of crime... The laconic but lyrical voice and downbeat humour will seduce you and mark McKinty out as a true original? Guardian
