Sand Blind (Mask Noir)

Sand Blind (Mask Noir)

by JulianRathbone (Author)

Synopsis

Arnold Cartwright, an 'ordinary Englishman', has lost his job and marriage. A highly-qualified radar technician, he is recruited by a Spanish-based company working in 'commercial aircraft control'. Right from the start, Cartwright realises that the job he is working on is not as innocent as it seems. A murder attempt on his father makes it clear to him that he has his job for life or death... A post-cold-war thriller, Sand Blind raises questions of fundamental importance - the morality of international arms sales, the use and abuse of double agents and Western support for power-crazed dictators. A sexy, enthralling page-turner, Sand Blind is the work of a brilliant writer at the height of his powers.

New York Times Book Review ?An international thriller in which history and morality, duty and destiny, rub shoulders with a terrifying shudder.? GQ ?Outstanding political thriller penned by the twice Booker Prize nominated author.? Big Issue
