  This pupil's book is part of a German language course designed for learners who will carry on with German in years 10 and 11 / S3 and S4, but who have retained little of their first three years of learning. It is also intended for GCSE Basic and Standard Grade, for evening classes and for any class needing either a rapid taster course or a revision course. The pupil's book is divided into 39 short, self-contained units, most of them no more than four pages long - discrete units which can be taken in any order. Each unit offers simple reading, speaking, listening and very simple writing activities. Although its approach is mature, aimed at learners aged 14 and over, it assumes virtually no previous knowledge of the language.
