Media Reviews
'Superb. Stylish, spectacular, insightful, entertaining. Too many motoring books are a waste of trees, but this is special.' Mick Walsh, editor in chief, Classic & Sports Car 'The car book that all we lovers of machinery have been waiting for: a perfect balance between all that is romantic, practical and downright dangerous about motor racing. Robbie Coltrane 'Great beasts being thrashed to within microns of their cylinder heads. Great book, Nick! Can I come next time?' Damon Hill
Author Bio
Nick Mason inherited his life-long interest in motor sport from his father, the documentary film-maker Bill Mason. When Pink Floyd duties allow, Nick is able to swap the drumming stool for the driver's seat, and has raced regularly for over 20 years, including competing in five Le Mans races. Mark Hales is a professional motor journalist with nearly 30 years' experience of racing and testing virtually every type of racing car, and has driven most of the world's fastest road cars on track and road. He writes for a range of publications including Classic & Sports Car, Top Gear Magazine, Autosport and the Daily Telegraph.
