  This book looks at the celebration of Christmas in a primary school. As part of the My School series, it aims to introduce early readers to the people who work at school and to the main events in the school year. There are two levels of text in each book. The first is designed for children who are just starting to read and the second is for more advanced readers, or for teachers to read aloud. The book follows a school through its activities as it prepares for Christmas. The author describes the decoration of the classroom, the rehearsal and performance of nativity plays, a magician's visit to the school, the Christmas fair and meeting Father Christmas. The text is complemented by a glossary, a further reading list and an index.
