Author Bio
During her life, Nerylla Taunton, initially a collector, came to be acknowledged as a world class dealer with expertise in the field of antique needlework implements, ladies' fashion accessories, lace and embroidery. She ran a successful antiques business in Sydney, Australia and for many years has written and lectured throughout the world on these topics. She was a guest lecturer for conventions held by Dorset Thimble Society in England and Thimble Collectors International in the USA, as well as the Australian Needlework Tools Collectors' Society. She was a regular contributor to various specialist journals, and is co-author of Chatelains - Utility to Glorious Extravagance, also published by ACC.
