LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE CHURCH HAS LEFT

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE CHURCH HAS LEFT

by RobFrost (Author), Mark Williamson (Editor), Andy Frost (Author)

Synopsis

The Pentecost Festival shows the church engaging with the world through a series of meaningful issues, and calls the local church to do the same. The Pentecost Festival is a massive weekend party in central London; a cross-generational, multi-cultural celebration of the church's identity, creativity and compassion; a gift from the church to the Capital. It's about the church serving and engaging with society in a relevant, meaningful way. This book tells the story behind the birth and vision of the festival, how it is rooted in an understanding of the first Christian Pentecost, and how the church should be at the forefront of a whole host of issues that concern society at the moment. This book is a call to every local church to continue in its mission of sharing the love of Christ.
