  George Andrew's life-long interest in cricket includes captaining his school, college and Cologne Cricket Club. While teaching in Germany he founded three drama groups, in Sennelager, Soltau, and Minden, where he directed a variety of plays including 'My Three Angels', 'Alfie' and 'Billie Liar'. School productions have ranged from 'The Wizard of Oz' to 'Follow the Star'.An 'occasional' broadcaster and actor, his most recent role on stage, combining his interest, was not surprisingly, that of Roger the cricket captain in 'Outside Edge'. He is currently following a full-time career as a writer which he combines with watching and playing cricket.
