Media Reviews
A great deal of thought has been given to how textbooks can interest and stimulate the reader and this depth study is a well-illustrated and engaging example. This is a unit for Key Stage Three History and it should prove a popular resource. Every effort has been made to make the content succinct, yet focussed. Features include mission objectives and checkpoints for whether the mission has been accomplished. Key words are provided, as are 'pause for thought' questions and key facts. Issues are examined through four depth studies: British America, India, Australia and Africa and these should prove thought provoking and ensure lively discussion. In conclusion, this is a colourful and attractive book written by a history teacher to enthuse students and it deserves to succeed. * TES Review *
