Author Bio
After graduating in agriculture at Bangor, Graham Harvey joined Farmers Weekly as a reporter and feature writer. In the late 1970s he left to work as a freelance journalist specialising in countryside, food and environmental issues, and has written for a wide range of publications including The Sunday Times, the Daily Mail, New Scientist, and Country Life. In the mid-1980s Harvey joined the script-writing team of The Archers, and has written more than 500 episodes. He is now the programme's Agricultural Story Editor, responsible for developing the farming and rural storylines.
