This book is a fascinating inside account of some of the key events and players of the apartheid years. Peter Hain is the Labour MP for Neath. He served as Leader of the House of Commons and as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, for Work and Pensions, and for Wales in the governments of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. He is also the author of a memoir, Outside In, and a biography, Mandela.
