Me, Suzy P

by KarenSaunders (Author)

Synopsis

Fourteen-year-old Suzy Puttock and her three best friends lead an average teenage life, spending most of their time in school, home or hanging out in cafes. Mishaps and cringe moments have a nasty habit of following Suzy wherever she goes, but otherwise life's pretty normal. She's been going out with Danny since forever, her nutty older sister Amber's wedding is taking up all her family's attention and her annoying younger sister Harry is intent on making Suzy's life a misery. When gorgeous new boy Zach starts showing Suzy attention, she wonders if the grass may be greener on the other side of the romantic fence. Before Suzy knows it, she's broken up with Danny, there's a huge rift in her friendship group and life is careering off track. Can she sort herself out before things are messed up completely?

Media Reviews
Easy to read, funny and very engaging. * Birmingham Post *
'One of my favourite reads of 2012: Despite being aimed at a much, much younger audience, there is just so much I related to' * NewBooks *
'a delightful entertaining read full of moments that make you want to burst out laughing in maybe not the most appropriate of places.' -- Jesse Owen * Books4Teens blog *
'As a huge fan of the Louise Rennison protagonist during my teens I have read a few books which have been likened to the disaster magnet that is Georgia but all have fallen flat, or haven't been comparable enough to me. Me, Suzy P is different though, it's great and I loved it, with its laugh out loud moments and times you want to hit the book over your head for what's going on; I think it might just live up to the comparison!' * Raimy Greenland, Readaraptor blog *
'Not only is this book funny - hilarious, even - it's also heart warming, relatable and will have you smiling like a lunatic at the end.' * Booktastic Reviews *
'a fun read from a great debut author' -- Megan McDade * Reading Away the Days blog *
'This 8/10 read is light and funny while dealing with issues teens come across.' * Nayu's Reading Corner *
'Overall, I loved Me. Suzy P. It's immensely likable and absolutely hilarious! I look forward to reading more by this fab author.' * Bookster Reviews *
'Me, Suzy P. is a perfect title for a young teenage girl. It is funny and cringe worthy and farcical in places but ultimately (and most importantly) it's just a really great read. ' * A Bookish Way of Life *
'A lively, heart-warming story, sure to put a smile on your face!' -- Luisa Plaja * Chicklish *
