Synopsis

There's a new toy in the bedroom. He's called Humphrey, and he's small, soft and stripy, with a big squidgy tummy. But what sort of toy is he, and what can he do? Poor little Humphrey doesn't know, and it makes him very sad, so the toys decide to help him find out... An endearing story of friendship and of never giving up!

Author Bio
Steve Smallman has taken up writing his own stories after illustrating children's books for over 30 years. He also teaches illustration and mural-painting workshops in schools. When he's not working, Steve enjoys films, television, gardening and walking in the countryside. Storyteller Tim Warnes is based in the Dorset countryside in south west of England. A writer, illustrator and kid lit commentator, Tim's heart is to share his passion for kids' books. Despite being a grown-up, Tim will often read a picture book to himself at bedtime. He also enjoys playing the banjo and wearing fancy hats.
