Elizabeth Hawkins is a prize-winning children's author. She enjoys writing for both the very young and older children. Formerly a journalist, she began to explore children's literature and write books for children following the births of her three sons. She also teaches workshops in London on writing for children. Brought up in the West Midlands, she now divides her life between London and Dorset.
