Author Bio
STEVE SMALLMAN has been illustrating children's books for almost 30 years and writing his own stories for slightly less. He also teaches illustration workshops in schools, including mural-painting. He is the winner of the 2009 Sheffield Children's Book award. Steve is the author of Smelly Peter the Great Pea Eater (Winner of the Sheffield Children's Book Award 2009) and The Lamb Who Came for Dinner(Shortlisted for the Red House Children's Book Award and read by Meatloaf on CITV's Bookaboo). When he's not working, Steve enjoys films, television, gardening and walking in the countryside. DANIEL HOWARTH started drawing from a very early age and went on to study Art at college and then university. He graduated with a degree in Illustration in 1994 and started creating his own range of greetings cards with his wife and fellow children's author, Heidi Howarth, whom he met at university. Daniel works from his studio in Exeter and enjoys the wealth of inspiration and imagination that comes from living deep in the Devon countryside with his wife and two children.
