Synopsis

Author Bio
Laura Summers grew up in South London and was a teacher before becoming a full-time writer. She has written for many popular children's television series including The Story of Tracy Beaker and The New Worst Witch, and was nominated for a children's BAFTA for one of her scripts for The Little Princess. Her first book, DESPERATE MEASURES, was shortlisted for the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize and nominated for the Carnegie Medal. Laura now lives in North Devon with her husband and children and when not writing loves to draw and paint.
