Author Bio
Patrick Waterfield is an independent energy consultant living and workingmainly in Northern Ireland. From a background of academic research, specializing in passive solar design, he ran a UK government-funded consultancy service promoting best practice in energy-efficient design of buildings and services. He now works as a self-employed energy consultant covering all building types and sectors. Dr Waterfield is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Energy Institute and has recently completed his own 'passive house'.
