Michael Tibbs is a distinguished orchid grower and breeder, and is the author of several important books on orchids. He lectures widely and is an accredited judge in South Africa and a senior judge with the American Orchid Society. His nursery is in Franschhoek, South Africa, where he specializes in Disa Orchids.
