Marianne Taylor is a former editor at Christopher Helm and former sub-editor of (and regular writer for) Birdwatch magazine, now working freelance. She has written many articles on all aspects of wildlife-watching for Birdwatch and other publications, and her other work includes writing and editing material for the RSPB Learn Birds project. Steve Young is an acclaimed bird and wildlife photographer whose work has appeared in numerous books and magazines. He is also a writer whose work includes A Field Guide to Bird Photography, and he is a columnist for Birdwatch magazine and Outdoor Photography.
