Author Bio
Vicki Myron was born in Spencer, Iowa and grew up on a farm south of Moneta - a town that no longer exists. She graduated from Hartley Iowa High School and moved to Mankato, Minnesota and recieved a bachelor's degree from Mankato State. In 1982, she returned to Spencer to begin working at the public library where she remained for 25 and 1/2 years, retiring in 2007 to write the story of Dewey, the cat that changed her life. Bret Witter is a book editor and professional writer. Raised in north Alabama, he currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, two children and his fourteen-year-old cat Kiki.
