Author Bio
Juliet Gardiner is an historian and broadcaster. A former editor of History Today magazine, she is also the author of Wartime: Britain 1939-1945, Over Here : GIs in Britain During the Second World War, The Children's War; The Animals' War and The Thirties: An Intimate Portrait. She was historical consultant for Channel Four's series The 1940s House and wrote the accompanying bestselling book. Juliet also wrote the book that accompanied Channel Four's series, The Edwardian Country House. Juliet lives in London.
