Synopsis

One day 18th-century ship surgeon Lemuel Gulliver is shipwrecked and lands on a mysterious island. To his astonishment he finds himself captive in a kingdom of tiny people - the Lilliputs. But this is not all that befalls him while he is tossed and turned at sea. He also lands on an curious island full of giants, is a guest on an exotic island that flies through the sky, is suspended in time, and converses with talking horses and an unruly tribe of Yahoos.

Author Bio
Harriet Castor sold her first book for publication at the age of twelve. Since then she has written more than forty books for children, plus a novel for adults. She grew up in Warwickshire, where she attended a full-time ballet school, but gave up dancing for Cambridge and a history degree. Harriet lives in Bristol. Fernando Juarez lives in Madrid. Having studied graphic design and illustration in Spain, he works as an illustrator for several international publishing houses and advertising agencies producing material for children's books, CD covers and posters.
