Author Bio
Professor Catherine McDermott is a lecturer in Design History at Kingston University, Surrey, and has lectured worldwide at the Pratt School of Art in New York, the University of California, the J.Paul Getty Center in Santa Monica, and the Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal College of Art in London. She is also a respected curator of design exhibitions. As an author, she has been published widely in the field of contemporary design. She lives in Putney, London.
