Author Bio
Roger Protz is the best-known name in international beer-writing circles. A two-time editor of the Camra Good Beer Guide, the first man to be so honoured, he has written a number of other books, including The Organic Beer Guide and Britain's 500 Best Pubs. A correspondent for Beers of the World magazine and weekly columnist for the trade paper the Morning Advertiser, he is also a regular contributor to What's Brewing and Brewer's Guardian. He is European Editor of All About Beer, published in the United States. He has won two Gold and five Silver awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Guild of Beer Writers, gold, silver and bronze from the North American Guild of Beer Writers and is a double winner of the Glenfiddich Drink Writer of the Year Award (1997 and 2004).
