Author Bio
Sir Martin Gilbert CBE was educated at Highgate School and Magdalen College, Oxford. The author of over seventy books, he is best known as the official biographer of Sir Winston Churchill, a role he inherited from Randolph Churchill on his death in 1968. His books include First World War, Second World War, The Day the War Ended, Churchill: A Life, and In Search of Churchill. He is also the author of Never Again: A History of the Holocaust, published in association with the Imperial War Museum. He lives in North London.
