Administrative policies and judicial decisions are analyzed in depth throughout, and possible solutions to difficult, controversial questions are suggested. Since the second edition was published, there have been a large number of caselaw developments, particularly in the area of remedies, discretion and natural justice. Other more general changes in the pattern of administrative organizations include the changes in the nature of the Civil Service and the creation of new executive agencies. Quasi-public bodies have been farmed into companies which will have an impact on the type of remedies available against them.
