Stella Blackstone has written many bestselling titles for Barefoot Books, including the popular Bear and Cleo series, An Island in the Sun (9781-84148-197-4), Secret Seahorse (9781-84148-876-3) and Who Are You, Baby Kangaroo? (9781-84148-216-1). Stella lives with her family in Somerset. Stephanie Bauer was six years old when her parents gave her an art box and she has not stopped painting since. After earning a design degree from Colorado State University, she entered the architectural profession before launching her own faux-finish and decorative painting business. She now works as a full-time artist. Stephanie lives with her husband and three daughters in Oregon, where they share their house with three very bright birds, one blue fish and one plain brown dog.
