Author Bio
Mr Pusskins, Sam's first hilarious book for Orchard, won the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Pre-School Book, was a New York Times bestseller and was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Award and Sheffield Book Prize. She has also created the brilliant Whoops-a-Daisy World series of books for Orchard, which started with Doctor Miaow's Big Emergency and has quickly been followed by Chief Rhino to the Rescue. Sam has written and illustrated a number of novelty books including What Colour Are Your Knickers? for Gullane and Calm Down, Boris! for Templar which won the Richard and Judy award. Sam was also Highly Commended in Booktrust's Big Read Best New Illustrators. Sam lives in Brighton with her baby son.
