Media Reviews
This is a remarkable piece of writing, broodingly atmospheric and sympathetic towards its troubled teenaged protagonists. The Times This gripping thriller has the freshness and philosophical drive of Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' with a substitution of spirituality and belief for that of inspiration and creativity. A must-read for all creative, free thinkers. Books for Keeps This is an absorbing, page-turning adventure, with echoes of Orwell and Huxley, tackling powerful themes of authority, oppression and autonomy. The Bookseller
