Author Bio
Roger Williams was born in 1940. Aircraft were his first love, so, after school, he joined the de Havilland Aircraft Company where he quickly added motor cars to his list of prime interests. He completed his apprenticeship & studies & built two Ford-based specials before family & career interests took pride of place for many years. However, in 1986 he started his own consultancy business, which allowed him to restore numerous MGBs, a Triumph TR6 & a Triumph Stag & to write three MGB books. He retired in 2000 & has since moved to France and written four Triumph TR restoration books. Roger installed a Rover V8 engine in one of his own MGBs.
