Author Bio
Roger Stephens has lived in Chester for 25 years and he has long been a keen student of the city's history. As a tourist guide he is used to explaining that history to visitors, and to showing them the sights and curiosities that reveal the city's past. In addition to his interest in local history, he has researched the story of Cheshire, and this work led to his first book The Boom of the Bitterbump: The Folk History of Cheshire's Wildlife.
