Author Bio
Bruce Fordyce, one of the greatest ultramarathon athletes of all time, has raced in major marathon and ultramarathon races around the world. He has set numerous records, some of which remain unbeaten. He came first in the South African Comrades Marathon an unprecedented eight consecutive years from 1981 to 1988, and won again in 1990. Bruce has written two books on the Comrades Marathon, is a sports columnist for various newspapers and magazines and the Chief Executive Officer of the South African Sports Trust. Marielle Renssen has successfully run two marathons and countless half marathon and 30km (18 miles) races, and has completed the tough The Foot of Africa marathon. Marielle wrote The Complete Running Manual, published by New Holland.
