Author Bio
Author Penny Swift began her career as a journalist, and has authored more than 20 books on home-building and repair with her husband, photographer Janek Szymanowski. However, she has always had a passion for horses, and this has grown over the years with her daughter's participation in competitive riding. Penny is the author of The Sporting Horse in Southern Africa, a celebration of equestrian pursuits published in 2001. Consultant Bernadette Faurie is one of the world's leading equestrian writers. She was voted journalist of the year for 1997 by the International Trainer's Club, and is a major contributor to the monthly magazines Dressage, Horse & Rider and Show Jumping.
