Sharp Shooters

Sharp Shooters

by David Biggs (Author)

Synopsis

Shooters - those bright and brisk quickies - and cocktails are usually grouped together in any collection of drinks recipes. This is obviously because both consist of mixtures of alcoholic beverages. But that's where the similarity ends. They're very different creatures. Shooters are colourful layered drinks, with each contrasting colour carefully poured to keep it separate from those above and below. It takes a steady hand, and involves a good deal of trial and error. The good news, of course, is that you can drink your errors. The bad news is that this does not contribute to a steady pouring hand. And while they may taste good, their names are usually in anything but good taste. Sharp Shooters gives you everything you need to get pouring. The book covers the tricks of the trade, essential equipment, shooter ingredients and their characteristics, drinking games and offers 75 shooter recipes guaranteed to get a party going.
