Author Bio
Stephen Humphrey studied history at Cambridge and archives at University College, London and is an authority on churches and cathedrals. A former secretary of the Ecclesiological Society, he has lectured and written widely and leads a church tour group. Previous publications include the Blue Guide to the Churches and Chapels of Southern England (A & C Black). Stephen Humphrey lives in Southwark, south-east London. James Morris is an accomplished architectural photographer who runs the Axiom Photographic agency in London. He has worked throughout Europe for book and magazine publishers. Previous New Holland publications include This is Egypt.
