Author Bio
Tim Brink began his life-long love affair with bicycles and cycling as a 12 year old. Lacking the physical talent to become the next Eddy Merckx, he chose to enter the bike trade. Over 25 years, he has managed bike shops, worked as a bike mechanic (on two continents), competed as a semi-professional mountain bike racer and managed the distribution of a major bike brand. He is the former deputy editor of the South African edition of Bicycling magazine, the world's biggest selling cycling title. His work has also appeared in Men's Health and in corporate and inflight magazines.
