by Steve Young (Photographer), John A. Burton (Author)

Synopsis

These days feeding birds isn't simply a matter of scattering breadcrumbs and a couple of bacon rinds on the lawn, patio or window sill. The range of bird feeders on offer is ever increasing and gardening in order to attract birds is becoming more and more popular. The Ultimate Bird Feeder Handbook provides all the information you will need to successfully attract and feed birds in your outdoor space - whatever the size. This book is packed with advice on the different types of bird tables and feeders available, how to make your own, the best places to locate them, and the birds you can expect to see. The final section is dedicated to the foodstuffs that attract birds, whether they are shop bought or grow naturally in your garden, providing information on which species favour which foods.
